Built on Experience. Driven by Purpose.

Aspen Midstream launched in 2017, offering a full platform of midstream solutions, including interstate and intrastate natural gas transmission, natural gas gathering, cryogenic processing, compression, CO2 treating, and condensate stabilization. Headquartered in Dallas, Aspen Midstream’s team has extensive experience and solid relationships throughout the oil and gas industry.

2026

In first quarter of 2026, Aspen Midstream placed into service a new interconnect with the Matterhorn 42-inch pipeline on Aspen’s ACE 30-inch pipeline along with a new bi-directional interconnect with the Matterhorn 24-inch pipeline at Katy, growing the Aspen Katy Hub interconnectivity and access to supply.

In the second quarter of 2026, Aspen Midstream reached FID and commenced construction on their Aspen Katy Hub project with an in-service of first quarter 2027. The Aspen Katy Hub will provide firm bi-directional service with the deployment of compression and low-pressure and high-pressure headers providing approximately 3 Bcf/d of connectivity. The project will allow the company the ability to provide bi-directional service around and out of the Katy area with the deployment of new compression including two low-pressure and high-pressure headers providing additional connectivity to all available interconnects.

2025

In September of 2025, Aspen Midstream II was formed and secured an equity commitment from EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Building on the proven track record of its veteran leadership team, the company focuses on natural gas transmission and last-mile solutions to support gas demand growth across North America.

2024

In the first quarter of 2024, Aspen Midstream underwent a Leadership change and strategically refocused the company on natural gas transmission supported by upstream gathering and processing assets. This shift allowed Aspen to evolve with shifting midstream market dynamics.

2019

In 2019, Aspen Midstream placed into commercial service the backbone of its Austin Chalk system, including AMP Texas Pipeline’s Battle Horse 200 MMcf/d cryogenic processing plant, AMP NGL Pipeline’s 12-inch pipeline, and AMP Intrastate Pipeline’s 56-mile, 30-inch high-pressure intrastate residue pipeline with deliveries into the Katy Hub.

2018

In 2018, Aspen Midstream entered the Austin Chalk/Giddings field through the development of a greenfield midstream system that included gathering, compression, CO2 treating, natural gas processing, NGL transportation, and residue transportation. The system serves multiple producers with significant acreage dedications across five counties northwest of Houston, TX.

2017

Aspen Midstream was founded in 2017 with a commitment from EnCap Flatrock Midstream.
