2017

Aspen Midstream was formed in May 2017 with a commitment from EnCap Flatrock Midstream. Aspen’s founders and management team have more than 100 years of midstream experience combined. Their experience expands across contracting, constructing, financing, and operating midstream assets. Deploying their experience from Energy Transfer, Regency Energy Partners, Sunoco Logistics, Colonial Pipeline, EnLink Midstream, West Texas Gas, and others, the Aspen team diligently created the suite of Aspen Midstream Companies.

2018

In 2018, Aspen Midstream entered the Austin Chalk/Giddings field through a buildout of a greenfield midstream system consisting of gathering, compression, CO2 treating, gas processing, NGL transportation, and residue transportation. The system is served by multiple producers with significant acreage dedications operating over five counties just Northwest of the Houston, TX area.

2019

In 2019, Aspen Midstream placed into commercial service the backbone of its Austin Chalk system, consisting of the AMP Texas Pipelines’ Battle Horse 200 MMcf/d cryogenic processing plant, AMP NGL Pipelines’ 12-inch pipeline and AMP Intrastate Pipelines’ 56 miles of 30-inch high-pressure intrastate residue pipeline, with deliveries into the Katy hub.
